About

Hi! I'm Intricate Explorer.

My mission is to explore more.

Introduction

Fresh out of a relationship, I started photography back in 2018 with nothing but a cracked smartphone and a five dollar selfie stick.

My only goal at the time was to impress new girls. I'd spent the past five years of my life with a person I presumed was the one, but it all fell apart. You know, the typical mid-twenties canon event.

I started out with simple photography adventures- the parking garage down the street. The rock formation up the road. The illuminated pinball in the bar.

But the more I shot, the more I realized that every adventure taught me a little about myself. And the more complex the adventure was, the more I learned.

Little by little, I felt myself growing, and the more I explored, the more my heartbreak faded away.

Today, I continue to believe in photography as a tool for self-growth. It forces you to look at the world in a way you never initially imagined- and in those details, find elements of yourself.

Also, hiking into a monsterous landscape for a sunset photo is really fucking fun.
