About
Here's a little about me.
Background
I started photography way back in 2018 with nothing but a cracked smartphone and a fifteen dollar selfie stick.
Fresh out of college, my only motivation was to take photos of myself for dating. My long-term girlfriend and I had just broken up, and my entire future felt shattered. You know, the typical mid-twenties canon event.
I started out with simple photography adventures- the parking garage down the street. The rock formation up the road. The illuminated pinball bar. But I soon realized that photography was teaching me things about myself that I didn't even know yet.
As time went on, my heartbreak faded and photography transitioned from a hobby to an all-out obsession.
Before I even knew what I was doing, I moved into a Toyota Prius and I was decided to drive around North America shooting everything I could. I'd spend a few weeks out in nature, then a few weeks in the city doing food delivery to pay the bills.
Jump forward to today, and I’m still out here shooting. I’ve settled down a bit, but I continue to believe in photography as a tool for self-growth.
Taking photos forces you to look at the world in a way you never initially imagined- and in those details, find elements of yourself.
Mission
My mission is to explore more. That's it.
