Adventures
Every time I shoot, I document the session here.
Every adventure. You’ll see my photography progress with full transparency. The good days, the bad days, and the downright ugly days.

439 - Grutas Tolantanga
We woke up outside Grutas Tolantanga around 7:30am, and were greeted by a line of cars at the entry. But it didn’t quite seem like the entry… It looked like some type of chaotic blockade. People were getting in and out of their cars, and smoke was blowing everywhere. What the fuck…
438 - Cascada La Cebolla
OK, I lied. Remember when I said I was exhausted after shooting La Poza? Turns out I had one more shoot in me for the day.
437 - Las Pozas
I was in a wretched mood when today’s shoot started, which was ironic because we were shooting at a Zen surrealist garden in the middle of the jungle.
436 - Cascada de Tamul
Finding a four leaf clover is a rare genetic mutation. It’s estimated that one in every five thousand clovers has four leafs. Today I found one.
435 - Cascada de Micos
Today the research finally paid off. FINALLY. We shot at Cascada de Micos just north of Mexico City, and even jumped off a waterfall or two.
434 - Cascadas de Tamasopa
We didn’t even realize it but we showed up to a waterpark today, thinking it was a waterfall nature hike. Mexico’s full of surprises.
433 - La Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel
OUR VAN’S FINALLY FIXED, WOOOOOOOOOO! Within minutes of picking it up, we were off to our next destination- La Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel. And let me tell you… This was one of the most epic churches I’ve ever seen in my entire life.
432 - Arcos de Milenio
Today's shoot was at these MASSIVE yellow arches that looked like they were created by Ronald McDonald on acid. By the end of it, I was craving french fries like nobody's business.
431 - Museo Panteón de Belén
The awesome thing about Mexico is that they actually acknowledge that death is a real thing, unlike the United States. Which is comforting in a strange, unsettling way.
430 - Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe
This is a shortie adventure, because it wasn’t supposed to happen. I felt like I couldn’t leave Guadalahara without including at least ONE church, as the place is quite literally the City of God. (Not really, but that’s a good movie.)
429 - Arena Coliseo
First live wrestling match ever and it was at a Lucha Libre event in the middle of Guadalajara, Mexico. What a way to be introduced.
428 - Mercado Libertad
Today's adventure was in my first world market. I don't count Farmer's Markets, or really ANY market in the USA as a world market. They just don't compare.
427 - Bosque Los Colomos
I’m gonna cut right to the chase. Our van is in a shop right now, because the power steering fluid is leaking like a dick. And we’re in the middle of Mexico.
426 - Cascada Los Azules
Our first waterfall in Mexico did not disappoint. AT ALL. Today's shoot was at Cascades Los Azules, which means the Blue Waterfalls in Spanish.
425 - Fábrica La Rojeña
Today we visited the small town of Tequila, Mexico, which is literally the Napa Valley of tequila. And let me tell you, we got the full experience.
424 - Mirador De Cristal
Probably one of my wildest adventures in a LONG time- featuring a near death experience. It was was our first shoot in mainland Mexico- at Mirador Del Cristal.
423 - Buenos Aires
You know those cliché photos you always see on Facebook of someone saving the baby sea turtles? Yeah... That's what we did today in Buenos Aires, Mexico.
422 - La Cruz de Los Barriles
I'm not sure how to make a catchy intro for this post, but we shot at La Cruz de Los Barriles today. Also I just made that up, the hill doesn't have an "official" name... yet.
421 - Playa Arbolito
If you're a photographer that loves "documenting the scene," today's shoot is gonna piss you the fuck off. I'd recommend skipping this one, for your own sanity.
420 - Puerto Los Cabos
It's my 420th shoot folks.. So here's a photo of crab telling you to go fuck yourself at Puerto Los Cabos.
